Correlative Conjunctions

1. Give me neither poverty nor riches.

2. Either take the money or let me have it.

3. Both the President and the Secretaryof State were absent.

4. Whether he will refuse or obey, I know not.

5. Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him.

Conjunctions often occur in pairs, as in these sentences.

The first conjunction of each pair seems to have no power of connecting without its mate. Correlative conjunctions are conjunctions used in pairs.

Write five sentences using correlative conjunctions in each sentence.
